In the final days before His death, Jesus was still hard at work teaching. In spite of the aggression of certain religious leaders, He boldly tells the crowd a story involving their history & their future – the parable of the vine growers.
Their history of silencing God’s messengers was about to culminate in the death of the Son of God – and destruction was to follow.
What was true about Israel is true for the church today. Leaders who lead the flock into error must be taken to task – and it’s up to each of us to stand for truth.
