Betrayer or Brother? – Luke 22:47-48

The most infamous betrayal of all time, Judas leading an angry mob to the innocent Christ causes many to set this example apart as the crowning hypocrisy throughout history. None of us would like to picture ourself as Judas, but many of his characteristics are alive & well in the world to this day, even in churches.

The problem is that we can be in false religion and not realize it. Traits found in Judas can hide easily in a deceived heart – and the American church has made it common to follow Christ for selfish reasons, compounding the problem.

Many professing Christians today haven’t truly been saved, meaning they have more in common with Judas than with Jesus. Which one are you?
