It’s not easy to hold onto faith when the answers we seek in prayer are delayed. Especially when we are being persecuted for our faith, it can be hard to understand why God would allow His children to suffer.
Our text today teaches a principle that at some point every Christian will need to learn if they expect to finish their race with their faith still intact – and when we learn to see God’s divine reason for delay, we can begin to see the value of perseverance in trials.
Join us as we continue in Luke’s gospel with a parable on persevering. Since persecution is a promise to every believer, we have to learn to face it in a way that grows us instead of crushes us. Our answers to prayer aren’t simply delayed, they are divinely delayed.
