Being a servant of Christ is a multifaceted responsibility – yet we often find ourselves out of balance. Some fill their days with longing for heaven, others work in ministry to exhaustion, while others fall into a life of compartments – some time set aside for God’s kingdom & some for our own.
Jesus expects His servants to do a lot more than one aspect when it comes to service. Watch for His return, wait on His direction, shine a light for the world to see, and keep working as a faithful servant the whole time. It may sound like a lot of responsibility, but once we untangle from worldly pursuits we’ll have all the time we need to serve well.
