When people think of religion, they often think of the outward effects of it. Go to church, do good works, clean yourself up and a list of do’s & dont’s. We expect to see certain things but because we can’t see the heart we are limited to what is seen on the outside.
This is where the danger lies and many have fallen victim to a personal moral code with an outward show, yet inwardly they are empty. Because they haven’t been transformed on the inside, when the enemy comes roaring back they end up in worse shape than they were before.
Jesus didn’t come to sweep the house and leave, He came to sit on the throne of a heart as King. Join us as we continue through Luke’s gospel with a reality check that every Christian needs to carefully & honestly consider.
