If today’s sermon title seems a little harsh or brings up uncomfortable feelings, keep in mind that words like these were good enough for one of Jesus’s sermons. They should be acceptable to us then too.
So rather than a special Mother’s Day sermon or guest speaker – we’re continuing through Luke’s gospel, beginning in chapter 13. It’s a text that isn’t too hard to understand – repent or perish.
The church in America still has time to heed the command to repent, but as Christian leaders , denominations & churches continue to do things their own way – we would do well to pay attention to what Jesus has to say before it’s too late.
