The gospel starts fires. In a heart, in a church, in a home & in righteous judgment. While the times change, people don’t – and that makes today’s text all the more timely.
As Jesus approached the cross, His heart was weighed down by the knowledge of this. Even as He dreaded the cross, He was joyful over the prospect of what would happen because of it. That joy came at the highest price imaginable, and the results of the cross are still being seen today.
