There are so many promises in the Bible regarding answers to prayer. But they can be misused & misunderstood, leading to discouragement when instead of yes – God’s answer is no. This doesn’t compute if you’ve been taught that God wants you to dream big, or feel like you should be able to work up more faith.
When things don’t go our way (which they often won’t) or we are discouraged because we were taught that God wants all the sane things that we want for ourselves – what can we do?
As hard as it can be to deal with answers to prayer that are different that we hoped for – we can find encouragement. Even when God says “no”. Join us as we wrap up our teaching on prayer!
